Gratitude in Action: School of Business Celebrates Big Success of Stevens Day of Giving 2024

In a testament to the power of community and generosity, donors came together for 1,870 minutes during Stevens Day of Giving 2024 on February 15-16, raising an impressive $32,288 for the School of Business. This year’s total more than doubled the amount raised during last year’s Day of Giving, while the number of donors jumped by 65 percent.

The strong surge in support from alumni, friends, faculty, staff and students demonstrated the school’s deep commitment to providing a leading-edge business education that prepares the next generation of business leaders for today’s digital and technology-focused world.

The growth in philanthropy is part of a larger trend as the School of Business welcomes top new faculty, soars in national rankings and leads the future of fintech.

“The remarkable results of this year’s Day of Giving reaffirms our commitment to educational excellence,” says Dean Gregory Prastacos. “These donations are a testament of the confidence and the support we enjoy from our community; they will bolster our student and faculty resources while allowing us to continue the necessary growth of a top-tier business school. Together, we are making a lasting impact on the lives of current and future students, better positioning them to meet the demands of today’s business world.”

Donations will help fund and expand scholarships, research projects, experiential learning opportunities and other key programs, such as the Inclusive Leadership Certificate Program.

Although Stevens Day of Giving may be over, you can still make an impact here.
